Billing questions

How does billing work?

After the pilot, every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You are charged when the trial ends, monthly or yearly depending on what you picked, and you can switch between the two at any time. Yearly plans are billed once for the year ahead.

How do I cancel?

From Settings, in two taps, with no email or call required. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period, except where local law says otherwise.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your account stays readable until the paid period ends, and you can export everything as a file at any time before or after. Bank connections are disconnected when the period ends. Your data is deleted 30 days after that, or immediately if you delete your account yourself from Settings. Details in the privacy policy.

What does “free during the pilot” mean?

While Ample is in its pilot, every member uses every feature, including Pro, at no charge, and no card is collected. When the pilot ends we will tell you at least 30 days ahead, and you choose a plan or leave with your data.

Why is Ample paid by me instead of free?

Because the alternative is being paid by lenders and card issuers for placing their products, which would make the Moves ranking untrustworthy. A subscription lets Ample rank a Move by your dollars alone and say no when the math says no.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes, at any time. Upgrading takes effect immediately and is prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current period; if you have more than three bank connections, you choose which three to keep.
